It’s all hands on deck when it comes to shooting the new designs. Take a step back to an early autumn day at Sophie’s house where we photographed the lovely new Lobster & Crab collection, one that we are all very much excited to have in our homes.
The coffee is ready, the equipment is set up, and the delicious food for the table setting is prepared, now it’s time to lay the table, set the AGA and create some beautiful lifestyles. Unfortunately, we couldn’t drink from the new mugs as we needed them in the photos. Can you spot a little crab? (hint: it's inside the new lobster mug)
This collection definitely makes laying the table enjoyable, and it’s looking pretty summery. You'll see we've made a DIY napkin holder out of white rope, it's ever so simple and you can do it from home, just tie a fancy knot (a figure of eight knot or reef knot works well) around a neatly folded napkin.
And voila, the table is set with the new Lobster table runner, placemats and napkins. Our lovely photographer Lucy snaps away at the stylish collection. There's something so satisfying and fresh about this table layout.
Meanwhile, these two are patiently waiting for a little playtime break with their favourite Sophie Allport dog toys.
We're being super careful stacking those fine bone china mugs.
Once the new collection has been photographed, it's time to pack up the equipment, product samples and props, and head home for a well-deserved sit-down. Take a look at some of the final shots below!
This table setting makes us want to tuck into a summer salad and spend the afternoon walking along the beach.
