Behind The Scenes Of Our Coastal Birds Photoshoot

Lights, camera and action - we’ve turned Sophie’s house into a coastal retreat for the day while shooting her new Coastal Birds collection, which features her beautiful illustrations of Avocets on a sea blue-green background. Let’s step behind the scenes and see how the team got on.

A beautiful way to freshen up your home, this new collection complements any home interior from country to coastal and is perfect for Spring and Summer. As you can see there is always lots of equipment to take with us, including lightboxes, laptops, cameras, props, vases and flowers.

From fine bone china mugs and jugs to AGA hob covers and oven mitts, there is plenty to choose from in the new range. Sophie’s AGA looks exceptional dressed in her new kitchenware and here we can see our photographer Lucy capturing the moment.

We’ll go to great lengths to get that perfect windswept shot. This makes us feel like heading to the seaside, sitting on the waterfront and eating ice cream.

Who loves belly rubs? Florrie most definitely does! Sophie Fox Red Labrador is always around on shoots keeping us entertained, wagging her tail and wanting cuddles.

Do you want to know one of the best things about photoshoots? We have two, the first seeing the new collection come to life, and the second eating and drinking all the amazing food. You’d expect to see a table setting like this in a coastal restaurant and your dining table deserves the same treatment, this setting is perfect for family parties, events and dinner times.
