How to choose and personalise a tea towel
Adding your name or message
Choose your design, then type the text you'd like into the personalisation box on the product page. Each tea towel takes up to 15 characters including spaces, so a name, a pair of initials or a short phrase fits well. Emojis can't be used. Then pick a lettering colour from the options shown. These are matched to each design, for example Gold or Navy on Bees, Navy or Pink on Hare, and Khaki or Red on Snowy Village. Woodland Friends, Garden Vegetables and Lemons come with one lettering colour. You'll see the personalisation cost on each product page.
Cotton or linen
Most of the range is 100% cotton. For a more textured look, the Sunflower Linen Tea Towel is 100% linen, while the Olive Linen and Lemons Linen tea towels are 80% linen and 20% cotton. All of them share the same H 65 x W 45cm size and a loop in the corner for hanging by the oven or sink. They wash at 30 degrees.
Patterns and scenes
Some tea towels repeat a single motif across the cloth: bees on Bees, dogs on Woof, Fetch and Labradors & Retrievers, cats on Purrfect, or lobsters on Lobster. Others are full illustrated scenes, such as the Home for Christmas Scene Tea Towel, with families carrying trees home and Father Christmas in the night sky, or the Tails & Trails Scene, packed with dog breeds. For Halloween there are Trick or Treat and Paws & Pumpkins, and for Christmas there's Snowy Owls, Cosy Christmas, Christmas Puddings and Mistletoe.

Frequently asked questions
Every tea towel in this collection measures H 65 x W 45cm and has a hanging loop in the corner, so you can hang it by the oven or sink. The size is the same whether you choose a cotton design or one of the linen tea towels such as Olive or Sunflower.
You can add up to 15 characters including spaces. That's enough for a first name, a surname, initials or a short message such as a family name. Emojis can't be used. After typing your text, choose a lettering colour from the options listed for that design.
All the tea towels can be washed at 30 degrees. Many care guides also say to iron on a medium setting and not to tumble dry or bleach. Check the care guide on the product page for the design you choose, as the linen tea towels carry their own guidance.
