Choosing Christmas plates for your table
Fine bone china or stoneware
The fine bone china side plates are 21cm across and hand decorated in the UK. Pick from the Snowy Village Side Plate, the Snowy Cottage China Side Plate, the Cosy Christmas China Side Plate and the Home for Christmas Side Plate. They suit starters, sides, morning toast or a slice of yule log with a hot drink.
The stoneware pieces have a more relaxed, natural feel. Most have an organic shaped edge and a contrasting rim: red on the Robin and Christmas Trees side plates, olive green on the Robin dinner plate and blue on the Home for Christmas small side plate.
The designs
Robin shows plump robins perched on Christmas trees, one holding a sprig of mistletoe. Home for Christmas captures the bustle of bringing the tree and presents home, and its stoneware version has a 4x4 carrying a tree through a wintery forest. Snowy Cottage shows snow falling on a Christmas night as the animals come out to play, while Cosy Christmas has a traditional tree surrounded by wrapped gifts and woodland friends. Christmas Puddings and Christmas Trees add a cheerful pattern to mix in.
Sizes and serving
The Robin Stoneware Dinner Plate is 28cm across and pairs with the 20cm Robin Stoneware Side Plate. The Christmas Puddings side plate is also 20cm, and the Home for Christmas Stoneware Small Side Plate is 15cm, a handy size for leaving cookies out for Father Christmas.
Dressing the rest of the table
Plates look even better against fabric in the same festive spirit. Browse our Christmas tablecloths and Christmas table runners for the base layer, then finish each place setting with Christmas napkins.

The Cosy Christmas China Side Plate can be personalised with a name, initials or a short message of up to 15 characters including spaces. You add your wording on the product page before adding the plate to your basket. The other plates on this page are not personalisable.
