Festive designs

The Snowy Village Tablecloth shows cottages beneath frosted trees, with hares, badgers, deer, robins and pheasants wandering through the snow and pops of winter red. The Cosy Christmas Tablecloth is full of nostalgic detail: traditional trees, woodland friends, pets waiting in the window and stockings hung by the fire. On the Christmas Puddings Tablecloth, mice sneak nibbles from puddings beneath sprigs of holly. For something quieter, the Mistletoe Tablecloth scatters sprigs of mistletoe over an off white base that is easy to pair with your other tableware.

Cotton or linen gingham

All the printed designs are 100% cotton. The Rustic Red Gingham and Chocolate Brown Gingham tablecloths are an 80% linen, 20% cotton blend. Linen is naturally breathable and softens over time, and the red and white check gives a cosy, country feel at Christmas that carries on happily into the rest of the year.

Getting the size right

Most rectangular tablecloths measure 280 x 152cm. Snowy Village and Chocolate Brown Gingham also come in a Small size of 200 x 152cm, and the Rustic Red Gingham Linen Tablecloth is 280 x 168cm. For a round table there are three 190cm diameter options: Rustic Red Gingham, Chocolate Brown Gingham and the Snowy Village Frill Edge Round Tablecloth. Measure your table and allow for a little overhang on every side.

Layering the table

Once the cloth is down, add a Christmas table runner along the centre, then fold Christmas napkins at each place. Our Christmas plates come in several of the same designs, including Snowy Village, Cosy Christmas and Christmas Puddings, so the whole table ties together.
