We’re thrilled to announce that our Stamford shop has reopened after undergoing a very exciting refurb! The team have been working hard behind the scenes to give it a fresh new look, and we were so pleased to welcome you back last weekend at our opening event.
Thank you to everyone who came along and visited over the weekend. We hope you loved browsing all the latest designs from Sophie, as well as our seasonal favourites.
Did you know it was also Stamford shop's 7th birthday? To celebrate, our wonderful friends at Mirabeau kindly gifted us their delicious Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin & Tonic Canettes for you to take home – we’re not surprised, but they went down a treat!
We loved meeting you all and hearing about the Sophie Allport items you already have in your home, as well as seeing your reactions to the new shop filled with beautiful tablescapes, kitchenware, bathroom must-haves and plenty more home accessories.
The shop is designed to flow like a house with a kitchen and fireplace downstairs, then a bedroom, bathroom and kids’ area upstairs. You might have also noticed some exposed brick walls – a happy accident! The walls towards the front of the shop were discovered at the start of the refurbishment, and we loved them so much that we decided they should be proudly shown, they add charm and character, which is quite fitting for the historic Stamford high street.
We also received plenty of positive comments about the colours used throughout the shop, from the kitchen worktops and bathroom vanity to the till and walls. We’ll let you into a little secret, we used our very own Sophie Allport paint, so you can achieve the same look at home. In February this year, we launched our first capsule collection of paint colours made by bCorp certified, COAT Paints, so you can tie your home together beautifully.
Have you been to our Stamford shop yet? It’s filled with all our seasonal delights, from Sophie’s best-selling Bees design to her new Blossom and Tulip designs which launched this season – they bring the outdoors into the home and are sure to brighten up any space.
