On a chilly autumn day, a few members of the Sophie Allport team headed to Exton Park, where we hired out a luxury tent to photograph Sophie's beautiful new Giraffe collection. There were a few minor hiccups in the plan, no electricity being the main, but let's take a little look at how the team got on.
The location was so picturesque, and the tent was perfect for our giraffe collection, giving out summer safari vibes! But once we got on set, we soon realised there was no electricity, with lightboxes, camera equipment and laptops needing plugging in. Luckily, we were able to get a noisy generator down to the tent to fix the problem.
Once we sorted out our little bump in the road, it was straight onto setting everything up. The table setting looked so pretty, dotted with our stoneware plates, napkins and coasters in the new giraffe design. It definitely made us all want to grab our passports and head off on a safari.
The lightboxes were great for using as lamps as the day turned into evening, and a couple of members of the team even stayed the night as they had travelled some distance to be at the shoot. I’m not sure they will be glamping again in October, but they were thankful for their cosy coats and the fire to keep them a little bit warm.
