Choosing a teapot
Fine bone china or stoneware
The Bees Teapot is made from fine bone china, with a simple bee on the front and back. It is a great pourer and comes presented in a Sophie Allport gift box. The Bees Stoneware Teapot has a classic cream finish and Sophie's hand-drawn bee illustration, and is made from durable stoneware for everyday use.
Which size to pick
The Bees Teapot comes in two sizes: Small holds 500ml and stands 14cm tall, and Large holds 1 litre and stands 16cm tall. If you often pour for a crowd, the Large is the one to choose. The stoneware teapot sits in between, holding 750ml or around three average cups, and measures H 13 x W 20 x D 13cm including the handle and spout.
Looking after your teapot
The stoneware teapot is microwave and dishwasher safe. The fine bone china Bees Teapot is dishwasher safe too, but treat it gently: do not overload the dishwasher, keep the water temperature at 40 degrees or below, and use a gentle, short or china and crystal cycle. Patterns may vary slightly on the bone china pot.
