Sophie has designed this beautiful fine bone china mug to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, which marks the 70th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II on 6th February 1952.

This commemorative mug features Sophie's delicate illustration of a young Queen Elizabeth II on her Accession Day. Surrounded by a laurel wreath, the Union Jack and Royal Standard flags, and crowns are dotted around the outer rim.

The dates 1952 - 2022 Platinum Jubilee are featured on the front to mark this historic celebration. You'll also spot 'Platinum Jubilee' written on the inside rim in Sophie's signature handwriting. On the 6th of February 2022, Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth. This historic date will be celebrated throughout the year, with a four day UK bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2nd June to Sunday 5th June, providing opportunities for communities and people around the UK to come together to celebrate this historic milestone.
