Choosing between bone china and stoneware mugs
Fine bone china mugs
Most of this range is fine bone china, offered in two sizes: Standard holds 275ml and stands about 8cm tall, and Large holds 425ml and stands about 9cm tall. Every china mug comes in a smart gift box, and most are hand decorated and finished in the UK. Many have a word or phrase written inside the rim in Sophie's handwriting, such as 'Woof' on the Woof Mug, 'Walkies' on the Walkies Mug, 'Purrfect' on the Purrfect Mug and 'Home Grown' on the Home Grown Mug.
Designs to choose from
For country lovers there are Bees, Highland Stag, Pheasant, Cows, Sheep Baa and Chicken & Egg, plus the Lay A Little Egg For Me Mug, one of our bestsellers, with Speckled Marans, Sussex Hens and Orpingtons. Gardeners will enjoy Green Fingers, The Kitchen Garden, Catch Me If You Can and Garden Birds. Coastal designs include Lobster and Coastal Birds, and there are Hearts in pink or grey, Peacocks and Skiing too. Dog owners can choose Woof, Walkies, Fetch, Fab Labs or Sit, and you'll find more in our dog mugs. Festive designs include Holly & Berry, Night Owl, Home for Christmas, Christmas Dogs and Festive Forest.

Caring for your mugs
All of our china and stoneware mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe. Fine bone china is fragile by nature, so do not overload the dishwasher, keep the water at 40 degrees or below and use a gentle, short or china and crystal cycle.
