Choosing an indoor or outdoor plant pot
Outdoor terracotta pots
The Aged Terracotta Pot, in a mossed red stone finish, and the Aged Stone Terracotta Pot, in mossed white, are frost-resistant and have a hole in the bottom for outdoor planting. They come in small (H 10 x W 7cm), medium (H 13 x W 10cm) and large (H 16 x W 12cm), so you can collect a set or mix and match. They suit spring bulbs on a porch, patio or windowsill. Even frost-resistant pots may crack or flake in a hard frost, so move them to shelter in very cold weather. If you use the white pot indoors, fill it with faux plants only.
Indoor pots and planters
The Antique Green Pot and the Antique Blue Pot are clay with a softly weathered glaze, in small (H 12 x W 11.5cm) and medium (H 14 x W 14.5cm). The medium size fits our Olive Tree. They have no drainage hole and are not frost-proof. The Aged Stone Urn Planter is cement in an aged grey finish, H 22 x W 30cm, for indoor use only. Stand it on a protective mat and use a pot liner if planting.
A planter for inside or out
The Split Rattan Planter has a subtle lining so you can use it with real plants, and it can go outdoors too. At H 30 x W 29 x D 33cm it suits our faux eucalyptus tree, an olive or a lavender bush, or it can double as a storage basket. Frequently asked questions
The Aged Terracotta Pot and Aged Stone Terracotta Pot are frost-resistant, with a drainage hole for outdoor planting, and the Split Rattan Planter can be used outdoors. The Antique Green and Blue Pots are not frost-proof, and the Aged Stone Urn Planter is indoor use only.
The two aged terracotta pots have a hole in the bottom for outdoor planting. The Antique Green Pot and Antique Blue Pot have no drainage hole, and the Split Rattan Planter is lined for real plants. For the Aged Stone Urn Planter, we recommend using a pot liner if planting.
The medium Antique Green Pot and medium Antique Blue Pot, both H 14 x W 14.5cm, are sized for our faux Olive Tree. The larger Split Rattan Planter suits our faux eucalyptus tree. You will find both trees in our faux flowers collection.
Clean the aged terracotta pots with a stiff brush and water if needed. Avoid cleaning detergents, which can leave a residue. The Antique Green and Blue Pots are hand wash only, the rattan planter is wipe clean only, and the urn planter should be wiped with a dry cloth.
