Placemats and Coasters

Cork placemats

Our cork placemats have a slip-resistant cork backing and a matt lacquered surface that is heat resistant to 110 degrees, so they cope with hot plates. Sets of four measure H 21.5 x W 29cm in designs such as Bees, Chicken, Farm Friends and Holly & Berry. For round placemats, Robin, Wild Floral and Cosy Christmas come in sets of four at 29cm across. Extra large sets of two, at H 29 x W 40cm, fit a plate and cutlery together and suit serving dishes too: choose Farm Friends, Snowy Village, Snowy Owls or Christmas Stags with a gold painted edge.

Washable, fabric and woven placemats

Our washable placemats are 100% cotton, come in pairs and can be machine washed at 30 degrees. Designs include Wild Floral, Garden Vegetables, Sea Birds, Orchard Birds and Autumn Forage. The Lemons and sand stripe linen placemats are an 80% linen, 20% cotton blend. Our glue-bonded fabric placemats, such as Hare, Highland Stag and Dragonfly, are made sturdy with bonded layers, so spot clean them rather than immersing them in water. For texture, the Lattice Placemats are handwoven from rush and the Seagrass Placemats are hand crafted from twisted seagrass.

Coasters and matching sets

Most of our cork coasters come in boxes of four at 10 x 10cm, heat resistant to 110 degrees, and many designs have matching placemats, including Holly & Berry, Bees, Chicken, Home for Christmas and Festive Forest. You'll also find seagrass, rush and beaded coasters, and Coastal Boats embroidered drink napkins that double as fabric coasters. See every set in our coasters.

Personalised and festive placemats

The Cosy Christmas Large Washable Placemat and the Autumn Forage Embroidered Fabric Placemat can each be personalised with up to 15 characters including spaces, which turns a place setting into a keepsake. For the festive table, browse our Christmas placemats and coasters, and finish the look with a cloth or runner from our tablecloths and table runners.
