Choosing the right dog bed
Sizes and how to measure
Most of our rectangular pet mattresses, including Woof, Pheasant, Highland Stag and Sheep, come in three sizes: small (L 68 x W 46 x D 12cm), medium (L 88 x W 68 x D 12cm) and large (L 108 x W 86 x D 12cm). The Labradors & Retrievers Pet Mattress is deeper, at L 70 x W 45 x D 20cm (small), L 85 x W 65 x D 30cm (medium) and L 100 x W 80 x D 45cm (large). Measurements are seam to seam, so check them against your dog lying stretched out before choosing a size. A large dog bed gives a bigger breed room to stretch.
Washable covers and spare covers
Each mattress has a 100% cotton outer, a polyester padded inner and a removable zipped cover. Machine wash the cover at 30 degrees, but don't wash the polyester inner or tumble dry. Spare dog bed covers are sold separately in Woof, Pheasant, Highland Stag, Sheep, Doggy Daycare and Labradors & Retrievers, so you can swap a muddy cover for a clean one or change the look. The covers don't include the inner.
Basket beds for cats and dogs
The Woven Pet Basket is made from natural woven materials with a wire frame, in small or large, and is wipe clean. The cushion isn't included, so pair it with the Bees Oval Pet Mattress, which has Sophie's bee illustrations on pale green and suits cats and dogs.
Personalised dog beds
Every mattress and cover here can take your pet's name or a short message of up to 15 characters including spaces. Lettering colours suit each design, for example rust or teal on Woof and gold or navy on Bees. The personalisation price is shown on each product page.

Yes. Unzip the cotton cover and machine wash it at 30 degrees. Don't tumble dry it, and don't wash the polyester padded inner. Spare covers are sold separately, so you can keep one on the bed while the other is in the wash.
No. Our pet beds and mattresses have a 100% cotton outer, which isn't waterproof and isn't indestructible. If the fabric is chewed or clawed, the cotton fibres break down and the bed's lifespan is reduced, so they suit dogs that don't chew their bedding.
Yes. All of our pet mattresses and mattress covers can be personalised with your dog's name or a short message of up to 15 characters including spaces. You choose from the lettering colours listed for each design. The Woven Pet Basket can't be personalised.
