What linen look means, and how to choose
Linen look, not linen
Linen look describes the colour and look of the background, not the fibre. Hare, Woof and Bears & Balloons sit on a linen coloured ground, Bees on a soft linen colour, and the Dragonfly and Lemons designs on a linen-look background. The descriptions for most of these designs, including Hare, Woof, Bees, Olive and Lemons, list 100% cotton, so check each product page for the fabric of the design you choose.
Choosing a design
The three Dragonfly Linen Look designs have a dragonfly sketch in duck egg, teal or gold, and can be paired with neutral accessories or ones that match the dragonflies. Hare Linen Look has racing hares and delicate dots, and Bees Soft Linen Look has Sophie's buzzing bees among dots. Woof Linen Look is covered in wire haired dachshunds, spaniels, pugs, jack russells and fox red labradors, a good choice for dog owners. For a kitchen or dining room, Olive Linen Look and Lemons Linen Look bring a Mediterranean feel. Bears Linen Look, with elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras and teddy bears, is made for children's bedrooms, nurseries and playrooms.
Lining and samples
Pale backgrounds can be affected by lining. The Bears Linen Look description notes that because of the light tone of that fabric, our Blackout Ivory lining can cause a slight green hue, and recommends ordering a sample pack first. A fabric sample is a sensible first step for any design here, as the pattern may vary slightly.

No. Linen look describes the soft, natural colour of the background, not the fabric. Most of our linen look curtains, including Hare, Woof, Bees, Olive and Lemons, are listed as 100% cotton. Check the description on the product page for the fabric content of the design you choose.
Our Blackout Ivory lining is one option, but on light fabrics it can change the colour. The Bears Linen Look description notes it can cause a slight green hue on that fabric and recommends ordering a sample pack before you buy. Choose your lining on the product page when you order.
The care guide for our linen look made to measure curtains is dry clean only. Each pair is made bespoke to your measurements, so we cannot accept returns unless there is a fault with the product. Please double check your measurements before ordering.
