DIY - How To Spruce Up Your Spring Wreath

There's no better way to spruce up your home for spring than with a beautiful wreath. Our faux Spring Wreath's are a perfect way to add a floral touch to any home, and they can be reused year after year! If you're looking at ways you can add to your Spring Wreath, then we've got you covered... the lovely Donna from @thecountrygardenflorist has some DIY steps to sprucing up your wreath.

What you’ll need:

  • Spring Wreath
  • 10x Pussy Willow Stems
  • 3x Muscari Bulbs
  • 3x Pink Hyacinth Bulbs
  • 3x Narcissus Bulbs
  • Moss
  • Bind Wire
  • Scissors

DIY - How To Spruce Up Your Spring Wreath

Method:

  1. Pull out the flowers and branches in your Spring wreath to create a fuller effect. 
  2. Cut the pussy willow to 50cm length and push through the base of the wreath distributing them evenly.

  3. Pull the bulbs apart to separate them and add moss to the bottom of each bulb. You’ll need 3x of each flower. This will allow the bulbs to stay damp and the flowers to grow!

  4. Using the bind wire, attach each bulb to the base of your wreath. Make sure to alternative the bulbs so they flower evenly across the wreath.

  5. Make sure to water the wreath to allow the flowers to grow. This living wreath will mean you’ll get to enjoy the wreath for longer.
