Personalise Your Products With Sophie Allport

Sophie's Stories

Something exciting has been going on at Sophie Allport HQ, and we can finally reveal it to you! Are you ready? Drum roll please…

We are now able to personalise a select few products from our collections! This is still early days for us here at Sophie Allport, but we can currently offer personalisation on the following products: Children’s aprons, children’s backpacksChristmas stockings and sacks. Personalising your items is an excellent way to make a gift that extra bit special.

Our Personal Approach – Behind The Scenes

Once your order comes through to us, we fire up our embroidery machine ready to go and hand select your items from our warehouse. We’ll carefully pop your product into a frame and measure up the item to identify the correct position for the text, then scan it with the inbuilt camera.

When placing a personalised order, you’ll be able to pick from two colour options per product. Each colour has carefully been selected by Sophie and the design team to complement the colours on each product. Our personalisation team will then copy the requested text and select your desired colour. Please note that we are only able to accept a maximum character limit of 12.

Once everything is set up and ready, we lock the information in place and can begin embroidering your products.

When finished, we remove it from the frame, tidy it by hand, steam iron if necessary and return the item to its original packaging. The item will then be packed with any other items from the order and is ready to be shipped to its new home.

We know you might have some questions regarding our personalisation, so we have dedicated a whole section to personalisation in our FAQs.

Will you be personalising your Christmas sacks or perhaps your kid's backpack, so it doesn’t get lost at school? Let us know in the comments below!

  • I think this is a great idea and I’m sure it will be a great success. Maybe next you could look at doing the same on your dog beds, mattress’s or dog walking bags?
